  • Write detailed service reports and maintain accurate machine service history.
  • Train customer operators and maintenance staff on best practices and machine care.
  • Travel frequently—including short notice and extended stays—as needed for field service.
  • Support safety protocols and ensure work is performed to OSHA and internal standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering and tech teams to resolve complex issues and support continuous improvement.
  • Occasionally assist in-house with service, rebuilds, and cross-department tasks.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience servicing electro-mechanical systems (multi-spindle machines, 5-axis grinders, or similar)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills—electrical, mechanical, CNC, pneumatics, hydraulics
  • Able to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Comfortable with extensive travel and flexible hours, including some evenings/weekends
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.

Preferred:

  • Certifications in electrical/mechanical systems (e.g., journeyman electrician, maintenance tech)
  • Familiarity with safety standards (OSHA) and field service procedures
  • Prior experience with a machine tool builder or service provider

What You’ll Get

  • $34-$45 per hour DOE + meal per diems during travel
  • Performance-based incentives
  • Full benefits: BCBS medical, Delta Dental, vision, life, STD, LTD
  • 401(k) with 8% company match
  • Relocation assistance
  • Paid time off & holidays
