Recourse Communications has partnered with an industry leader in agriculture and construction equipment sales to find a motivated and personable Inside/Outside Sales Representative to join a growing team. This new and exciting role is perfect for someone who enjoys relationship-building, thrives in a self-directed environment, and wants to represent high-quality equipment to both residential and commercial customers.
What You’ll Do:
You will report to the office daily at 7 am for planning and check-ins, spend 2 days per week in the office, and 3 days per week visiting customers in the field. You'll get 250 equestrian leads, and your territory includes a mix of farms, acreage, and small landowners—with a healthy book of business that is 75% existing clients and 25% new business development.
You will also:
- Sell a variety of equipment including mowers, RTVs, compact tractors (under 80hp), implements, and attachments.
- Promote the full range of dealership services—sales, rentals, parts, and service.
- Build and maintain customer relationships through regular communication and site visits.
- Use Salesforce to log all activities and manage your customer pipeline.
- Qualify leads, develop sales action plans, and meet quarterly goals.
- Stay up to date with product knowledge through training, seminars, and events.
- Represent the company at trade shows, promotional events, golf outings, and even fishing trips.
- Negotiate pricing, create quotes, process orders, and assist with financing when needed.
- Occasionally deliver equipment or conduct product demonstrations.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of sales experience; industry experience preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
- Self-motivated, personable, and slightly competitive
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Comfortable using CRM software—Salesforce experience is a plus.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a bonus.
- Basic math skills (algebra and geometry)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and travel locally daily.
