Building Cleaner Manager

Recourse Communications Inc. (RCI) is working with the City of Lincoln to find an experienced Building Cleaner Manager who will oversee second-shift operations for the City/County complex. You’ll lead a team of 30 cleaners, work alongside a respected hands-on supervisor, and maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and building readiness.
This role is ideal for a steady, people-focused leader who knows how to motivate diverse personalities, manage operations, and keep teams running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, schedule, and support a team of ~30 second-shift cleaners
- Work closely with a trusted, well-liked supervisor
- Conduct inspections and ensure cleaning standards are consistently met
- Address performance concerns with a calm, non-confrontational approach
- Manage inventory, ordering, and procurement of cleaning supplies/equipment
- Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and safety compliance
What You Need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years commercial/institutional custodial experience
- 2+ years supervising cleaning personnel
- Experience managing diverse personalities and building morale
- Strong administrative skills
- Prior second-shift experience preferred
The Perks
- You’ll be paid $26.42–$33.84/hour + $0.45/hr. shift differential
