We are Recourse Communications Inc., and we match top talent with the best opportunities. And, our client is offering an excellent opportunity for Security Officers. You will maintain a strong and visible presence to ensure safety and security, monitoring and controlling access points, ensuring only authorized personnel enter designated areas. You will provide exceptional customer service by assisting guests with directions, inquiries, and general assistance, conduct routine patrols and inspections of the premises to detect and deter any suspicious or unauthorized activity and respond to incidents, emergencies, and alarms. You will also collaborate with local law enforcement, emergency services, and other security personnel as needed. You should expect to document and report all incidents, observations, and actions taken during shifts.
About You
· High school diploma
· Additional certifications or training in security or guest services
is an advantage
· Minimum 1-year Security Officer experience – preferably in a commercial environment
· Valid NYS Security Guard License that will not expire for at least 3 months
· Valid F01/F03/F04, and CPR Certification a strong plus
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively
· Demonstrable customer-service skills, ability to professionally handle difficult situations
· Familiarity with security systems, such as surveillance cameras, access control, and alarm systems
· Excellent observation and problem-solving abilities
· Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods, as well as lift and carry heavy objects
· Able to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
