About the Role:
As a Principal Test Engineer, you will define test plans, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive innovation in test methodologies to support high-volume manufacturing and high-speed digital products. Reporting to the Director of Test Engineering, your key responsibilities include:
- Defining test plans and ensuring comprehensive test coverage with design teams.
- Communicating effectively with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
- Designing ATE hardware for NPI support, including load boards, probe cards, and interfaces.
- Managing the full product lifecycle, from design and prototyping to production and sustaining support.
- Optimizing yield, test time, multi-site count, and parallel test efficiency.
What We’re Looking For:
- B.S./M.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in test engineering.
- Expertise in Test coverage and DFT (Scan/ATPG/JTAG/BIST).
- In-depth knowledge of Advantest V93k.
- Experience with Smartest, Redhat, and GIT/SVN.
- Experience working with local and offshore OSATs.
- Preferred experience with DDR, MRDIMM (DB and RCD), and high-speed digital products.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Comfort with collaboration, open communication, and cross-functional teamwork.
