We’re searching for an MRF OPS Manager to oversee daily operations at a Materials Recovery Facility. If you’re experienced in recycling operations, equipment, and team supervision, this is your chance to grow with a company committed to environmental responsibility.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise employees and daily operational improvements
- Review equipment inspections and maintain site safety
- Understand operation plans and county contract requirements
- Lead safety meetings and ensure compliance
- Process and track recyclable materials
- Maintain facility infrastructure and produce monthly tonnage reports
- Communicate with employees, county officials, and supervisors
- Input data on tonnage, revenue, and recycling
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma/GED or higher.
- 3+ years in MRF Transportation (Materials recycling facility)
- Supervisory experience required
- Experience with equipment like loaders, excavators, dump trucks (horizontal grinder a plus)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Waste/recycling industry experience preferred
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance
- Self-driven, safety-focused, and goal-oriented
