Customer Account Manager (Logistics)

A growing transportation and logistics organization is seeking a Customer Account Manager to support national freight operations and manage key customer accounts. This role focuses on coordinating shipments, tracking freight, and ensuring a high level of service for customers.


Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers and internal operations teams regarding shipment status
  • Enter and manage freight orders and shipment details
  • Schedule pickup and delivery appointments
  • Track and trace freight and resolve service issues
  • Compile reports and maintain shipment documentation
  • Build relationships with assigned customer accounts
  • Support capacity planning and identify additional freight opportunities when needed


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, customer success, or operations
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
