Customer Account Manager (Logistics)
A growing transportation and logistics organization is seeking a Customer Account Manager to support national freight operations and manage key customer accounts. This role focuses on coordinating shipments, tracking freight, and ensuring a high level of service for customers.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers and internal operations teams regarding shipment status
- Enter and manage freight orders and shipment details
- Schedule pickup and delivery appointments
- Track and trace freight and resolve service issues
- Compile reports and maintain shipment documentation
- Build relationships with assigned customer accounts
- Support capacity planning and identify additional freight opportunities when needed
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, customer success, or operations
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
