About the Role
As Controller, you’ll lead a range of high-level accounting functions—monitoring and maintaining the general ledger, reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements and reports, supporting audits, and guiding budgeting processes. You’ll work closely with the Fiscal Services Director and provide financial insight that supports district-wide goals.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s in Accounting (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a school district
- Knowledge of GAAP, budgeting, audit processes, and financial reporting
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, systems, and deadlines with precision
- Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills
