Compensation:$70,000 – $105,000 + Profit Sharing

A well-established commercial construction services provider is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support projects within underground utilities and industrial electrical divisions. This organization is known for its commitment to safety, reliability, and long-term client partnerships across complex infrastructure projects.

This is an opportunity to join a team that plays a direct role in building and maintaining critical power, gas, and electrical systems that support essential infrastructure.

What You’ll Own

  • End-to-end support of project lifecycle (bid → execution → closeout)
  • Coordination between field teams, vendors, and clients
  • Cost tracking, documentation, and billing accuracy
  • Problem-solving to keep projects on schedule and within scope

Target Candidate Profile

We are intentionally targeting candidates who meet most of the following:

  • 2–5+ years of construction project management or estimating experience
  • Background in underground utilities, heavy civil, or electrical construction
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specs, and contracts
  • Experience with bidding, takeoffs, RFIs, or vendor coordination
  • Strong organizational skills managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating cross-functionally

Preferred Tools:

Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Bid2Win, Bluebeam (or similar)

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

  • Direct impact on critical infrastructure projects
  • Exposure to both field operations and pre-construction strategy
  • Clear path to Project Manager-level ownership
  • Stable pipeline of work in essential services (utilities + power)
  • Profit-sharing tied to company performance

Benefits

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Paid time off + holidays
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Annual boot allowance + safety support programs
  • Employee referral incentives

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening (drug screen, background, or DOT physical depending on role)
  • OSHA training (or willingness to complete)

Apply If…

You’ve worked on construction projects where coordination, cost control, and execution mattered, and you’re ready to step into a role with more ownership and visibility across the full project lifecycle.
