Sourcing Engineer – Manufacturing Industry
RCI has partnered with a U.S.-based manufacturer known for designing and building highly specialized industrial equipment used in some of the world’s most demanding environments. Our client is looking for a Sourcing Engineer
to join their engineering team and play a critical role in bridging technical design with smart, strategic sourcing.
What You’ll Do:
- Source components based on detailed technical specs for new and existing product lines
- Recommend alternatives for unavailable or obsolete parts
- Interpret engineering drawings to support purchasing and supplier communications
- Maintain sourcing data in the ERP system (CloudSuite Industrial/Syteline)
What They’re Looking For:
- 6+ years of sourcing or engineering support experience OR a degree in a related technical field
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and fluid power components
- Ability to read engineering drawings and work in an ERP environment
- Bonus: Experience with SolidWorks or low volume/custom manufacturing
