Retail Sales & Merchandising Manager
Salary: $90,000–$95,000 + Bonus
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Retail Sales & Merchandising Manager to lead a high-volume retail sales team for a nationally recognized retailer specializing in computers, consumer electronics, and emerging technology.

The ideal candidate brings strong big-box retail management experience, a proven ability to achieve sales and operational goals, and expertise in merchandising, inventory management, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a high-performing sales team to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales objectives.
- Drive customer satisfaction, sales performance, productivity, payroll, and expense goals.
- Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and develop supervisors and sales associates.
- Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and guidance to ensure consistent execution of sales and service standards.
- Oversee merchandising, promotional displays, visual presentation, and monthly merchandising initiatives.
- Partner with store leadership to establish business priorities and ensure operational alignment.
- Review sales reports and profit-and-loss statements to identify opportunities and implement strategies for improvement.
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, freight flow, merchandise processing, and inventory control.
- Ensure accurate inventory tracking, cycle counts, and protection of company assets.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and customer-friendly sales environment.
- Address employee relations and human resources matters in partnership with store and regional leadership.
- Serve as the manager-in-charge when other store leaders are unavailable.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of retail leadership experience with a major big-box retailer.
- Experience managing a high-volume retail operation, preferably in a store of 30,000+ square feet.
- Background in consumer electronics, technology retail, or commissioned sales environments strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success driving sales, improving performance, and achieving operational goals.
- Experience overseeing all aspects of retail management, including merchandising, inventory, freight flow, and customer service.
- Strong recruiting, hiring, employee development, and performance management skills.
- Ability to analyze financial reports, identify business opportunities, and implement improvement strategies.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional early mornings.
- Ability to travel occasionally for meetings and training.
- Ability to work on the sales floor throughout the shift and meet the physical requirements of the position, including lifting up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. occasionally.
