The Opportunity
Stevens Transport is seeking a motivated, sales-driven professional to help existing company drivers explore the opportunity to become independent owner-operators and run their own businesses.
If you enjoy talking with people, building relationships, overcoming objections, and closing sales, this is an opportunity to put your skills to work!
What You'll Do
- Contact existing company drivers to present the owner-operator opportunity.
- Explain the benefits, responsibilities, and financial considerations of business ownership.
- Build relationships, address concerns, and follow up with interested drivers.
- Guide drivers through the transition and onboarding process.
- Help prospective owner-operators understand revenue growth and expense management.
- Meet daily phone activity, talk-time, and performance goals.
What We're Looking For
- Sales experience required.
- Strong phone, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to persuade, overcome objections, and build trust.
- Goal-oriented, organized, and enthusiastic approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Recruiting or transportation experience is a plus.
