Cybersecurity Administrator

What You’ll Do:
You’ll join their tight-knit department of four in a hands-on, strategy-infused role where you’ll manage high-risk IT vendors, lead vulnerability and security operations, and directly impact the organization’s infrastructure.
- Oversee vendor relationships for network, firewall, and cybersecurity management—including MDR oversight
- Administer vulnerability management systems and remediation processes
- Manage antivirus, anti-malware, anti-phishing, and endpoint protection systems
- Lead internal security assessments and help maintain compliance in a regulated environment
- Contribute to project planning, disaster recovery, and business continuity efforts
- Draft and maintain policies, procedures, and system documentation
- Regularly evaluate and implement new technologies and security solutions
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, perform audits, and prepare reports
- Guide the organization through cybersecurity training and awareness initiatives
What You Bring to the Table:
- 8+ years of IT experience including 4+ in cybersecurity and 4+ in general IT
- A bachelor’s degree (ideally in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field)
- Experience in a compliance-regulated industry, including audits and monitoring tools
- Strong understanding of both cybersecurity and networking principles
- Excellent documentation, vendor management, and security system administration skills
- Ability to obtain ISACA Cybersecurity Fundamentals and Practitioner certifications within 2 years (company-paid)
