The Role:You will leverage your expertise in highway and traffic engineering to investigate and analyze civil and criminal cases. You'll review case documents, conduct site investigations, write technical reports, and provide expert opinions for use in litigation and insurance claims. You’ll collaborate with attorneys, insurance companies, and fellow experts, providing insights that can influence outcomes in personal injury, civil, and criminal cases.
About You: • B.S. in Civil Engineering• P.E. license (Professional Engineer)
• 10+ years of hands-on highway/traffic engineering experience
• DOT project experience required
• Expertise in roadway design, intersection and signal design, safety features (signing, striping, lighting, barriers, etc.)
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team
• Strong analytical, technical writing, and communication skills
• Willingness to travel approximately 20%
•Additional experience in roadway maintenance, construction management, stormwater systems, crash reconstruction, or land development is a plus.
• Candidates must pass a drug, stringent background, and reference checks prior to the final interview.
