Overview

A nationally recognized professional services firm is seeking a Business Development Associate to support growth within a highly specialized, relationship-driven environment. Position Summary

The Business Development Associate serves as a key liaison between clients and internal subject matter experts. This individual will identify client needs, recommend appropriate service solutions, and drive revenue growth through both account management and new business development. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and expand relationships with existing and prospective clients
  • Conduct in-person and virtual client meetings to generate new business
  • Attend conferences, networking events, and industry functions
  • Coordinate and support speaking engagements and client presentations
  • Manage partnerships and sponsorships within the assigned territory
  • Track, manage, and follow up on inbound leads and opportunities
  • Maintain accurate reporting of sales activities and pipeline progress
  • Collaborate with internal experts to align client needs with service offerings
  • Stay informed on industry trends to identify growth opportunities


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years of business development or sales experience within professional services
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office; CRM experience required (NetSuite/Oracle a plus)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, events, and conferences
