Check in with the warehouse manager to discuss anything that is needed. Check in with the Site Supervisor (GK9 employee) on the day's activities and personnel. Do any auditing he/she feels is necessary or beneficial. Oversight of the operational environment and suggest fixes to the Supervisor. Look at staffing issues. Be the face to the client (Delta, United, American, etc..). Meet with potential new clients or existing clients to grow the business base which are usually the cargo companies and freight forwarders in placing additional staff at another warehouse or location or adding additional man hours at existing site.
Look at ways to reduce OT, improve TDY, efficiencies, stabilize balance scoreboard with the client.
Basically be the command and control of the unit at SFO.
